Cloves are the
dried, unopened flower buds of a small evergreen tree. They have a strong
sweet, pungent flavour. Use sparingly.

Usage
- Add to bread sauce to bring out the flavour.
- Delicious in apple pie and fruit crumbles.
- Mix with brown sugar and rub onto ham or pork before cooking.
