Creamy Chicken & Basil Linguine
A creamy recipe mix with basil, garlic and cheese for a delicious pasta dish.
For OUR RECIPE you will need…
1 sachet Schwartz Creamy Chicken & Basil Linguine Recipe Mix
1 tbs oil
450g (1lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
175g (6oz) broccoli florets, bite-size
300ml (½ pint) milk
275g (10oz) linguini, cooked according to pack instructions and drained
175g (6oz) cherry tomatoes, halved
25g (1oz) Parmesan cheese, grated
Heat oil, add chicken and broccoli, cover and sauté for 8-10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Mix sachet contents with milk, add to pan and heat through until it begins to simmer. Stir in linguine, tomatoes and cheese.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Add a splash of pasta water if sauce seems a little thick.
Serve immediately with garlic bread and salad. Garnish with shavings of Parmesan.
Hints & Tips
Try replacing the chicken with 450g diced, skinless salmon fillets. Sauté broccoli until tender, mix sachet contents with milk and add to pan with salmon, bring to a simmer and add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through.
