For the noodles:
175 gram (6 ounce) noodles
1 teaspoon cornflour

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon soft brown sugar
1 tablespoons tomato purée
225 gram (8 ounce) tin bamboo shoots, drained and rinsed
75 millilitre (3 fluid ounce) water
