  • 1 tablespoons Ground Ginger

  • 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon Ground Allspice

  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg

  • ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

  • 125 gram (5 ounce) butter

  • 100 gram (4 ounce) light brown sugar

  • 225 gram (8 ounce) black treacle

  • 1 egg

  • Royal Icing (prepare recipe 2 times)

  • 675 gram (1½ pounds) icing sugar, sieved

  • 3 egg whites

  • 3 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1½ teaspoon glycerine
